Northeastern’s commitment to the men and women who serve our country.
For nearly a century, Northeastern has been dedicated to the education of our nation’s veterans and service members, with a goal of recognizing military service and rewarding that service with opportunity.
Northeastern’s Center for the Advancement of Veterans and Servicemembers (CAVS) is dedicated to helping veterans achieve their educational and career aspirations. Led by Air Force Veteran Andy McCarty, CAVS aims to eliminate the gap between education and employment.
Half of all U.S. veterans face a period of unemployment after transitioning from military service, and for younger veterans, that number is even higher. Your support of veterans funds at Northeastern will allow CAVS to achieve its goal of increasing student veteran employability and assisting with the often difficult transition to civilian life.
