Coral Reef Research Project

This fund will be directed to a joint research project between the US and Mexico to identify the cause of the unidentified disease threatening the Cozumel reef system. The goal of the fund is to both identify the unknown pathogen, and to restore the reefs by repopulating them with disease resistant corals.
