Bioengineering Department Fund
The purpose of this fund is to support the priorities of the Department of Bioengineering.
In response to rapidly increasing student interest, expanding bioengineering research opportunities and exponential industry growth, the Department of Bioengineering was founded in 2014. By building on competencies established in graduate bioengineering education within our Chemical Engineering department, and expanding into more comprehensive multidisciplinary areas of bioengineering, the Department in 2019 reached student enrollment of nearly 750 including over 600 undergraduate students.
The Department provides:
- BS, MS, and PhD degree programs in Bioengineering
- Real-world experiential learning for students via hands-on research and cooperative education opportunities
- World-class research programs to address compelling health and sustainability challenges
