Gorlov Prize for Innovation

The Gorlov Prize for Innovation honors the life and legacy of MIE professor emeritus  Alexander Gorlov. Scholarships will recognize the members of the Senior Capstone Design Team that have demonstrated superior creativity and innovation in applying engineering principles to the resolution of a problem.
Judges appointed by the chair of the Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Department shall select the overall winner of the semiannual competitions. Candidates must be full-time undergraduate students at Northeastern majoring in mechanical and industrial engineering who have won an initial round of the Senior Capstone Design Competition.
