Fleming Health Sciences Entrepreneurs Fund

The Fleming Health Sciences Entrepreneurs Fund provides philanthropic support for the Health Sciences Entrepreneurs program at Northeastern University’s Bouvé College of Health Sciences. This program is designed to provide guidance and support to students, alumni, and faculty interested in health sciences entrepreneurship.

The program uses a multidisciplinary approach, leveraging the various fields offered by the Bouvé College of Health Sciences, such as pharmacy, nursing, drug development, physical therapy, health informatics, audiology and speech-language, physician assistant, counseling, and pre-med. By matching entrepreneurs with relevant colleagues and fostering internal and external collaboration and funding opportunities, HSE can help entrepreneurs build and grow successful companies.

Currently, HSE collaborates with over 40 ventures in various stages of development and maturity. The program also organizes regular hack-a-thons and networking events and coordinates courses and projects under the Health Sciences Entrepreneurship Minor. Additionally, several upcoming initiatives include:

· Formal entrepreneurship training for scientists.

· Creating a community of Entrepreneurial Leads for faculty projects.

· Digital Health Innovation Sprint in partnership with Northeastern’s Charlotte, NC campus.

In the Health Sciences Entrepreneurs program, we are dedicated to helping entrepreneurs achieve their dreams and goals.
