CAMD’s Department of Communication Studies offers a dynamic curriculum that includes more than 75 courses, enabling students to create a plan of study tailored to their unique interests. Popular areas of emphasis include strategic communication, production and entertainment, digital communication, public advocacy, and organizational and interpersonal communication.

Your gift provides the Communication Studies Chair with unrestricted resources that can be used where the department needs them most. These flexible funds empower the Chair to capitalize on new opportunities, such as sending students to conferences, enabling faculty to accept unanticipated invitation to present their research or pursue new projects, and inviting distinguished speakers to campus.  In the past, the Business and entertainment class invited John Sloss, creator of Boyhood and others from Gypsy Wedding and Amish Mafia.
