Professor R. Robinson History Fund
“Students never had to look very far to find Ray Robinson,” says William Fowler, Distinguished Professor of History, who first met Robinson as a student and later succeeded him as department chair. “He was interested in them as people, had a sympathetic ear to their problems, and was always available. He was a mentor and a model—in every regard, an extraordinary teacher.”
He retired after 57 years of dedicated service.
The purpose of this fund is to provide support to enhance the undergraduate student experience in the History Department. Such activities could include undergraduate research, professional development, conferences, and unpaid internships, Co-op and other Experiential learning.
