John P. “Jack” McCarron Athletic Scholarship Fund

Jack McCarron enetered Northeastern as a freshman in 1954 and earned a spot on the varsity track team that year. He was a member of the track team for 4 years, and was elected captain in his junior year. After he graduated (with a B.S. in Business administration) in 1959, he joined the staff at NU and served as an adminstrator until his retirement in 1997. This fund was created by his many friends in honor of his retirement.

This fund will provide welfare support, and academic, cultural, and other programs and services to enrich the educational experiences of the student athletes within the restrictions of NCAA rules.
