SGA Green Initiative Fund

The Student Government Association is an undergraduate organization composed of several Committees and Boards, each specializing in a specific aspect of advocacy on campus. The Green Initiatives Finance Board provides partial or complete financial support for student-led endeavors related to the environment. Undergraduate students and organizations can request a given amount to offset the costs of their project by submitting a proposal outlining the project’s intent and budget. Board members will vote on the submissions and allocate money from the fund accordingly. The Board is responsible for actively maintaining the fund’s balance as it is not replenished annually or recurringly. Funds raised will be used by the Green Initiatives Finance Board to serve the undergraduate student body, and help them alleviate the financial barriers associated with implementing sustainable practices and programming on campus.
