Club - Systematic Alpha

Northeastern Systematic Alpha (NUSA) is a research-based quantitative finance club focused on harnessing alternative data to develop systematic equity trading strategies. The members of NUSA work in teams to brainstorm ideas, source data, and test potential equity factors. During the first few weeks of the semester NUSA holds workshops open to everyone who’s interested. The workshops use a hands-on approach to introduce students to various elements of factor investing along with biases that can arise when testing equity factors.
