Stepping On Another Level (SOAL) is a performing arts step team. Step is a form of dance that has a long, rich history rooted in African dance tradition; the origins of step trace back to African tribal cultures, but more notably gumboot dancing. It is a percussive form of dance in which one’s body is used as an instrument to make sound.
