Bruce Wallin Memorial Rugby Endowment

On Dec. 29, 2011 the Friends of Northeastern University Rugby (FONUR) and the Northeastern rugby community lost one of its dearest friends and academic advisor, Professor Bruce Wallin. In January of 2012, the FONUR Organization renamed the newly establish NURFC Endowment fund to the Bruce A. Wallin Memorial Rugby Endowed Fund, in his honor. Professor Wallin was a champion both on and off the pitch. He was a tremendous individual who made a lifetime of giving both academic knowledge and personal and professional encouragement to anyone that was blessed to know him.

This endowment is a significant component for rugby’s continued growth as it will provide an annual source of funds which will support the operating expenses for the Men’s Rugby team.
