If making a gift or pledge payment to a named and/or endowed fund or another fund that does not appear as a giving option on our website, please follow the instructions below:

  • Fill out the giving form, entering “Greatest Need” as the fund designation.
  • In the ‘Special Instructions’ box at the bottom of the giving form (below the credit card area) write a note saying “Please direct my gift to the [Fund Name], and include the fund number if known. If the fund name isn’t known, include as much information as possible about the fund and a daytime phone number you can be reached at.
  • PLEASE NOTE: if the fund name isn’t known, please respond to phone messages and/or email questions as soon as possible to ensure your gift is processed in a timely manner.
  • If you have an interest in a specific area of the university but don’t know if there’s a relevant fund, contact the Office of Annual Giving at giving@northeastern.edu or (617) 373-5520.
