Club - Science Policy Group
The Northeastern Science Policy Group (NSPG) seeks to connect graduate students from various STEM disciplines and give them the skills they need to be effective leaders in science communication, education, and policy. Moreover, we advocate for the use of evidence-based policy making whereby political decisions are made based on the rigor of collected evidence.
The SPG has three goals:
Engage in a dialogue for and with Northeastern graduate students into the larger conversation of science and policy.
Connect with representatives and other influencers in the political/legislative community.
Lead the next generation of scientists to be active, knowledgable, rational citizens.
