I chose Northeastern because of a great scholarship I received, and the love I have for this school started the minute I arrived for orientation.
The amount of clubs available to join is unreal, and the friendships I have found within these organizations will last throughout my college career and beyond.
I am very active in the Student Alumni Association and with NU Stage Musical Theatre Company, the university’s student-run musical theater group. At NU Stage, I have been the music director for two productions and am on the executive board as the publicity coordinator. I love teaching music and giving vocal lessons—the amount of pride I have in my students and cast is something I’ll take with me long after my college days are over.
Northeastern is more than just co-op and building careers. It’s the community, the clubs, the friendships, the professors—everything that gives this school character.
Thank you for giving to Northeastern and helping the university offer an extraordinary education. A Northeastern degree already holds a lot of power, and I hope that, through my experiences here, I can contribute to giving it even more distinction.
