When I was recruited by Northeastern while in high school in England, I was excited because I wanted to experience a different culture, and Northeastern is in the perfect location. Boston is an international city, and Northeastern attracts students from around the world. I also love travelling, photography, and exploring all the great food in the area.
Apart from its great location, I also chose Northeastern because of the co-op program. I’ve worked at the mayor’s office, and am currently on my second co-op at the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center’s development office. I’ve learned a great deal about professionalism through these experiences, and have been exposed to so many important opportunities that will help build my professional network.
I would not be having these great experiences without the support of donors. I have grown so much and hope that generous people can continue to help students like me. I am also chair of the Senior Legacy Committee because I understand how important the financial support of donors is to the university, and it’s important to me to give back to Northeastern.
