Sarah Sienkiewicz

Most of my childhood was spent at my family’s appliance business where I was able to explore my surroundings. Those experiences molded me into who I am today: a conscious observer and an out-of-the-box thinker with a creative mind and an awareness of the world. With this upbringing I wanted to continue to view the world around me, which is one of the reasons I chose to attend Northeastern.

I’ve become very involved in Northeastern’s entrepreneurial eco-system during my time here. I am currently the Marketing Lead at IDEA, Northeastern’s student-led venture accelerator program. There I work making sure that IDEA’s message and voice is heard throughout the campus and beyond.

Programs like IDEA and the ventures they support would not exist without funding from donors. Being on the management team, I have seen firsthand what a donations to the IDEA Gap Fund can do for ventures. I would not have the opportunity to be involved in a turnkey organization such as IDEA without financial support and mentorship from our donors. I hope one day to also contribute to the school that has helped me find my passion, and make lifetime connections along the way.
