Without the financial support of donors like you, I wouldn’t be heading to Zambia this semester.
I am currently co-oping with an organization called Modzi—which was actually started by a Northeastern alumna. Modzi believes that providing educational opportunities to just one person can inspire those around them to change their own lives. The organization is now launching a new initiative that advocates for a young girl’s right to a good education and the guidance to succeed.
I will be shooting photo and video footage to create promotional materials for Modzi. I would never have had the funds to travel to Africa for a life-changing experience like this without the scholarship I received.
With my Northeastern degree and this scholarship, I will make a positive impact on the world, whether it’s through my interest in marine conservation, or working in education, or even by creating my own photography business. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, I have so many exciting options to explore. Thank you.
