Inter-Disciplinary Entrepreneurship Accelerator (IDEA) Fund

July 18, 2012 - Katie Chaput (right) and Charlie Stevenson (left) meet at the IDEA lab at Northeastern University. IDEA, NortheasternÕs Venture Accelerator, provides mentorship, resources and gap funding to new businesses and works as a proving ground for entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial ventures. It then provides potential investors access to these ventures. Over the past 24 months, IDEA has worked with more than 200 ventures from every college in the university and provided funding to 14 teams, many of which have drawn interest from outside investors.

The purpose of this fund is to provide the College of Business Administration with resources to assist entrepreneurial students to organically create, develop and accelerate their business objectives and plans.
